Yes. Optional packs are designed to extend Core QPD as operational requirements grow. A customer can start with Core QPD and add Manufacturing Operations or Advanced Resource Planning later.

No. QPD can support manufacturing quoting and budgeting without requiring a BOM. Expected costs can be built using materials and budgetable resources directly. The Manufacturing Operations Pack adds BOM-driven costing and deeper manufacturing structure where that is appropriate to the business.

Yes. Where Manufacturing Operations is used, BOM-derived budget information can flow forward into the project and support downstream planning. QPD also supports manually structured projects, so a BOM-driven route is not mandatory for every type of work.

Yes. Advanced Resource Planning supports detailed planning of both people and machines, allowing actual resources to be assigned against work while considering capacity and availability.

Budgeting answers what type and quantity of resource the work is expected to require. Advanced Resource Planning answers which actual person or machine will perform it, when they can do it and whether the assignment creates a capacity conflict.

No. QPD does not require a single commercial model. A professional services business can quote an engagement in the way that suits the commercial arrangement while separately budgeting the roles, rates and resources expected to deliver it, allowing expected and actual delivery cost to be compared with the fee.

Yes. Advanced Resource Planning can be used to assign actual people to work while considering availability, leave, working patterns, existing commitments and project dependencies.

QPD is priced by user band rather than charging separately for every individual seat. You choose the band that fits the number of users who need access and can add users freely within that band without changing the Core QPD subscription.

If the additional users remain within your existing band, your Core QPD subscription does not change. If your user count moves into the next band, your subscription moves to the pricing for that band.

Yes. QPD offers annual and monthly payment options. Both are based on a 12-month subscription commitment, with annual billing providing a 10% saving compared with monthly billing.

Yes. Manufacturing Operations and Advanced Resource Planning are optional enhancements to Core QPD and are priced according to your user band. They cannot be purchased without Core QPD.

Qupid AI is included with Core QPD, with a monthly request allowance based on your user band. If you need more capacity, additional requests are available at £20 per 1,000.

The QPD Implementation & Success Package provides a structured route through project definition, configuration, migration, validation, training and go-live. It is also required for eligibility for the 90-day money-back guarantee. We can agree the appropriate implementation approach based on your requirements.

There is no single implementation duration because data, configuration, stakeholder availability and optional-pack requirements vary between businesses. During project definition we agree the scope, consultancy requirement and practical implementation plan before the work progresses.

Yes. Agreed data migration can form part of the Implementation & Success Package. We review the relevant sources, data sets, quality and migration scope during project definition so the work required is understood before migration begins.

The included consultancy time is used across the implementation according to what your business actually needs — including project definition, configuration, migration, review and validation, training and go-live support — rather than assigning a rigid amount of time to every stage.

If the agreed implementation requires additional time because of factors such as migration complexity, additional training, bespoke configuration or optional-pack requirements, additional consultancy can be agreed at our standard rate before the extra work is carried out.

No. Adding an optional pack does not automatically create an additional implementation charge. If the pack introduces additional configuration, migration or training requirements beyond the included consultancy allowance, that additional scope is identified and agreed with you.

Eligible new customers who purchase the QPD Implementation & Success Package can implement QPD, train their team and use the platform in live operation. If, after proper implementation and genuine live use, QPD is not the right fit, the guarantee can be exercised within 90 days of the agreed go-live date, subject to the guarantee terms.

If the guarantee is validly exercised, QPD refunds the subscription fees paid for the eligible QPD subscription together with the fee paid for the standard Implementation & Success Package. Additional consultancy, additional training, travel and expenses, third-party costs and separately commissioned services are excluded.

QPD is designed to work alongside your existing finance or ERP system rather than replace it.

QPD includes flexible import and export tools for data including customers, contacts, materials and project information. Existing data can be imported from Excel using QPD's mapping wizard, allowing fields from your existing system to be mapped into the appropriate records within QPD. This is particularly useful when migrating or sharing data from established finance and ERP systems where direct API connectivity may not be available.

QPD does not currently provide direct integrations with accounting platforms such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks. Native integrations are part of our future development roadmap, particularly where modern APIs allow QPD and finance systems to exchange information reliably.

In the meantime, QPD's import and export capabilities provide a practical way to move operational data between systems without requiring it to be recreated manually.

Yes. QPD includes import and export capabilities, and agreed migration from existing data sources can also form part of implementation. The exact approach depends on the data and systems involved.

Yes. Customers should be able to export their business data from QPD. Where the 90-day guarantee is exercised, the customer is also given a reasonable opportunity to export its data before the account is closed.

QPD uses a multi-layered security model combining application-level access controls with the security provided by our underlying cloud infrastructure.

Customer data is separated using server-side access and privacy rules so users can only access information they are authorised to see within their company.

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. QPD's underlying infrastructure also provides protection against threats including DDoS attacks.

QPD's core application and database infrastructure is provided by Bubble using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Bubble is SOC 2 Type II compliant, while its AWS infrastructure maintains certifications including SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001. Cloudflare is also used within the underlying infrastructure for network and traffic protection.

QPD uses a per-company backup and recovery approach designed specifically for a multi-customer environment. Every company's data is backed up on a regular schedule, preserving both individual records and the relationships between them — for example, how a quote line connects to its quote, a task to its project, or an assignment to its resource.

If customer data needs to be recovered following an accidental deletion, problematic import or other data issue, QPD can restore the affected company's data from an appropriate backup while rebuilding the relationships between recovered records.

Recoveries are staged and validated before being applied to the live environment, helping ensure restored data is complete and internally consistent before it is returned to use.

When customers use QPD to process personal data as part of their business operations, the customer will normally remain the data controller, while QPD acts as the data processor.

QPD processes customer personal data to provide and support the service, using appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect that information. This includes access controls, separation between customer environments, encryption, backup and recovery procedures, and appropriate arrangements with the infrastructure and service providers used to deliver QPD.
